The purpose of the resource is …
- To make learners aware of ‘the power of one piece of paper’ so that they can see the big picture of a section of Mathematics. In this way they will also understand what concepts or rules they need to learn to master the basics of a section of work.
- To empower learners to identify and use basic thinking skills that are required when doing Mathematics. This is important as good thinking skills will have a positive effect on a learner’s ability to figure something out and to persevere. As a result a learner can improve their Mathematical performance.
