The Power of One Piece of Paper

This resource contains a collection of Mathematics Mind Maps that can be used by Grade 8 and Grade 9 learners (but even by Grade 7 and Grade 10 learners). The purpose of the resource is to make learners aware of ‘the power of one piece of paper’ to fully comprehend the big picture of a section of Mathematics and to identify and use basic thinking skills that are required when doing Mathematics. These posters are resources that capture information about important topics or concepts related to thinking and learning on ‘One Piece of Paper’.  On the front, you’ll find a visual representation of the topic/concept and explanatory notes and information can be found on the back. These resources can be used in a classroom, in therapy, or during other interventions or coaching. The original sources are acknowledged where appropriate.
